5.0 out of 5 stars – This watch is awesome!
Coming back around after several months of ownership. This is a great watch. It’s integration with a samsung phone is crazy cool. Whatever mode the phone is in, the watch does too… Phone is put in DND mode, that watch automatically follows. Didn’t expect that.
A whole lot of folks worry over battery life – I have not found that to be a problem… But then, I have made it a habit to plug it in as part of my morning routine… It charges while I eat my breakfast and read the news. But it invariably has over 60% when I plug it in… It will easy go more than 2 days if I need it to, in my normal use.
The phone-on-wrist function works fine. The software interface is excellent, and easy to get used to. The bluetooth hook is bulletproof. That is important to me, because I am disabled and may need to call someone for help – That is it’s first function for me. The heart rate function being second, and also quite robust in function.
It is surprisingly easy to navigate with primary functions set to be used with the dial. It has become natural for me. And it is crazy-cool that pretty well anything my phone can do, the watch can do too – I know I will never use it hard for email or texting or anything – Way easier to use the phone – But it is cool that I CAN. And with Google Assistant integration, that actually could work alright.

5.0 out of 5 stars – Good upgrade from a samsung 4
I recently upgraded my samsung watch from a 4 to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 40mm LTE Smartwatch in gold, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. The watch arrived in excellent condition, as it is a renewed product, and it looks and functions like new. The fitness tracking capabilities are top-notch, providing accurate data on my workouts and daily activities. The advanced sleep coaching feature has been particularly helpful in improving my sleep patterns. The BIA sensor for health wellness insights is a great addition, offering valuable information about my body composition. The watch pairs seamlessly with my non-Samsung phone, allowing me to receive notifications, make calls, and use various apps without any issues. Overall, I highly recommend this smartwatch for its functionality, design, and value for money.

5.0 out of 5 stars – Gave you stars just because
Ended up upgrading because my S3 didn’t hold a charge like it use to. Had the S6 now for a few days and to be honest, the S3 stayed charged longer than this one does. Hated the band that came with it so I ended up buying another. It is easy to set up and use. Also easy to connect to Bluetooth and WIFI. Purchased tempered glass covers to keep the face from getting scratched up.
Besides the battery charge issue (even in powersave mode), good purchase for the money.
Can’t figure out how to set it to make me move if I’m inactive for a period of time, all other apps are great though.

4.0 out of 5 stars – 3 Months Later
This is my first smartwatch, I’m a huge tech enthusiast but couldn’t ever justify a smartwatch. Something about it seemed superfluous, nonetheless. I decided to give this one a try due to the price (relatively inexpensive) and I’m enjoying it quite a bit. My favorite aspect by far is the sleep tracking. The way Samsung presents the information is super smooth while being playful at the same time.
Battery life is OK, I’d love a week but I get about 2-3 days with the screen off and about a day and a half with it always on. Your use will obviously vary. I’ve also noticed some 3rd party watch faces tend to drain the battery faster than the 1st party. I have a slim wrist but it fits perfectly and doesn’t knock against things too much. Setup was easy and as far as durability is concerned, I’ve noticed the black trim around the metal link on the watch is peeling quite a bit. But I also rarely take it off. It’s a pretty great watch, tbh. I think it’s a better buy than the Ultra for right now.

5.0 out of 5 stars – So glad I bought this
I’d been waffling on buying a smart watch for a few years, but always fell back to “would I really use it” and will it fit my large wrist?
I ended up giving it a shot finally and I’m really glad I did, I’m in love with smart watches now. I haven’t worn a watch in at least 30 years, but now I’ve got this like 23 hours a day, every day. It’s a great extension of your phone, being able to check notifications or using it for phone conversations while driving with the phone in my pocket. And then there’s the built-in things like counting your steps or monitoring my heartbeat and oxygen saturation. And get this…it even tells time!
I’d read that the best bands for sleep are the silicon or nylon ones, and I found a nylon one that would fit my wrist and it’s great, it’s not irritating and has a little stretch to it. Some people are worried about how big it looks, that’s going to be a YMMV situation. For me, it looks just right on my arm. And a larger screen means it’s easier to read than a 40mm one. The rotating crown might not be a need for everyone, I used it a lot at first but I’ve learned to swipe a lot on the screen too, so I’m not sure if it’s a deal breaker to be without one but I generally like it.

5.0 out of 5 stars – Refurb Excellent Condition is like brand new – give the battery time to optimize
This is my second GW6 Classic. The Refurbished – Excellent condition watch I received was like brand new. The battery life is no different than the new one I purchased from Samsung over a year ago. You need to give it a few days to optimize after charging and setting up. I was able to restore everything from my other GW6 to this one, saving me a lot of setup time. During the day, I keep my in always on mode and the battery lasts a day and half. If I turned off AOD mode and other functions, it the battery would last much longer. If you are new to the Galaxy watch, don’t expect the battery to last many days or a week. I charge it every couple days when I charge my phone. Love having a second GW6 to dress up with a different bezel cover and watch band.
