CeraVe cream is very helpful for me. i usually apply it on my skin after taking the bath and I find my skin become so soft and moisturized and that can last for almost 12 hours. I am sensitive skin and I feel comfortable after applying the cream on my skin without any itch. This cream contains ceramides, which is said to repair the damaged skin. After using it, I really felt that my skin was not so easy to dry and itch. This cream is also fragrance free and it so good for my sensitive skin. The price is not high for 539 ml with such a good quality. However, I think it is better to apply this cream on semi-dry skin, it is not easy to apply this cream on completely dry skin. This cream I will definately buy again.

I originally tried this cream years ago when I was on Accutane which caused my skin to dry out in the worst way. This cream was the only moisturizer that offered me relief. Nowadays, years later, while I don’t need the extreme hydration I used to, I still use this cream because IT JUST WORKS. Whenever I feel dry cracking forming on my hands from winter or working, this cream help immediately. I also use it as a facial moisturizer or body lotion, since it’s safe for use everywhere. It is a heavier cream rather than a lotion, which is another product CeraVe sells, but I like it regardless. I like that there is no scent as my skin is sensitive. I also suffer from eczema and this is the only store brand cream that offers me relief when I have a flare up. I’ll continue to buy this for years to come.

Like this bottle with its pump which makes it easier to dispense, and size of bottle is 16 FL. Oz. which has lasted for three months. I’ve had this delivered every 3 months as a Subscribe and Save for quite a while since my partner uses it every day, plus after showers. This is one of the few Subscribe and Save items I never have to skip- a handy little bonus. Amazon’s suggestions for how often things should be delivered can be wildly off- do I need a new phone case every 4 months? It’s a tiny success for the Subscribe and Save department.
I’ve bought this on Amazon 17 times. It has never been sealed because they don’t waste plastic by sending the pump lid separately. It’s *always* in a plain white, relatively lightweight box- yay! They don’t waste energy by printing something that doesn’t need it. Regarding broken containers- I’ve never had one break. That’s not a product problem – that’s a shipping issue. Don’t ding a good product because you have a careless carrier. I can’t remember having a container of anything I ordered from Amazon – or anywhere else- break. I can’t imagine worrying about contamination of the rest. OTOH, I don’t assume something purchased by weight has been opened between the manufacturer and my door so someone could steal 200 g because it settled, and the container doesn’t look full. I can’t visualize a den of malted milk or brewer’s yeast thieves bothering with that kind of thing, especially when I know powders compact when shaken, although dozens of reviewers think they do.
Vanicream strikes me as a virtually neutral product. It doesn’t have a scent; it’s plain white and thick. It may have some kind of opacifier- some lotions can end up semi-translucent with a grey tinge, which can be aesthetically off-putting. It seems to go on smoothly and is absorbed rapidly enough that I’ve never found streaks of it on his clothes. To promote the moisturizing capacity of any lotion, cream, body butter, etc., it helps to start with damp skin. You’re not attempting to put oils into your skin – you’re applying a barrier to keep your skin hydrated. I dry off as minimally as I can when my skin feels dry. I live in a high xeric zone, so dry skin is given around here. As with any product, especially with sensitive or irritated skin it’s a good idea to proceed carefully. The first 2 ingredients- water and petrolatum- are non-comedogenic, but the others could cause problems for sensitive or reactive skin.

5 stars because I’m optimistic and genuinely enjoy the scent and formulation of this product, along with the company being a B company! Otherwise, I am still evaluating how I feel about this product.
Pros: this cream is multi-purpose, and at a great price. You can use it as a hand cream, a lip balm, a face primer for eyeshadows and makeup. It is very thick and rich. I have been using it as a daytime moisturizer, ya know, for science. My boyfriend comments on how my skin glows after applying it, so I guess that’s something. I would feel more confident making this product a regular staple in my skincare routine if there were verified studies out there that measure effectiveness on moisture, wrinkles, etc.
Cons: This product is so THICK that it must be applied to facial skin very slowly, after warming it in your hands, otherwise it pulls the skin which can contribute to wrinkles.
Lack of scientific results vs media hype about this product contributes to my skepticism. Ok, celebrities use it, that’s nice. I’ll keep testing it out in the meantime.

I love this skin care cream/ointment. I say ointment bc in the beginning I thought it was truly an ointment. However, as my skin absorbed it, it just sort of melted into my skin leaving it soft and moisturized. It’s quite amazing. I wear it under makeup and sometimes as a nighttime moisturizer. I read about this product in an article about Carrie Underwood. According to o the article, she has used it for a long time and loves it. Glad I read the article bc I really like it too. It takes a little getting used to but well worth the process.

As someone who has psoriasis and extremely dry cracked skin, I constantly have to mostorise my face, this stuff is amazing. It’s thick so a little goes a long way, has a fresh smell, it can be a little strong but I’ve gotten used to it and it’s worth the benefits. It also sits very well under makeup, I use it as my primer and my makeup sticks to it extremely well and lasts all day and keeps you hydrated so no flaky makeup! ! I will always keep this in my routine.

I am 77 years old, and have been using this night cream every night for the last 3 months. I guess I don’t have a lot of wrinkles for my age, but gravity, lack of collagen, age, etc. is taking it’s toll. Let’s face, there is no cream of any kind that will reverse the effects of aging or replace the collagen our bodies no longer produce no matter how much we spend. Still, we need to try to protect what we have.
In my opinion, this is a good night cream that helps to moisturize the skin. It has little to no odor, and absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling greasy. This is not a very large jar, but you don’t need much. At 3 months, I am still using the first jar and have used about 3/4 of the jar. So far, I like this night cream and will continue using it. After using it, the next morning my face feels smooth and looks healthy.
As mentioned previously, I don’t expect miracles from any face cream, but I feel this one has the benefits of moisturizing and making my face feel and look a little better. Hey, at my age, I’ll take what I can get.

Looking for a good night moisturizer is like searching for the Holy Grail! I’ve tried many and found that this one is a winner. It has shea butter and some oil in it, in addition to Hyaluronic Acid, which makes it lock in moisture and soften your skin. Your face will still feel moist after tossing and turning on your pillow all night. I wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin but it’s great for dry skin and possibly normal skin, especially in winter. It is very thick but goes on easily. If you find it’s too heavy or it makes you break out, use it as a hand cream and get CeraVe’s PM Moisturizing Lotion, which is lighter and oil free. I deducted 1 star because I believe that a good skin cream should come in a glass bottle, not plastic.

I have combo skin and I have used everything from expensive professional products to over the counter ones. I have redness on cheeks and if my face gets too dry- it gets bumps but if it is too moisturized, it get oily.
This product is amazing! It does a great job of adding moisture without too much. It sinks into skin quickly and does not leave a residue or feel like you just added a ton of moisturizer BUT it does moisturize. I have been using for almost two weeks- once at night and once in the morning. It works well under makeup and I have seen a difference in the redness and texture of my skin. So far I am very happy with it.

I had been using a high-end product from a company whose name begins with the letters Ro. Because of my sensitive skin, after a few days I had a lot of flaking, so I had to discontinue it.
